Sylvie Laparra de Salgues is a French/New Zealand journalist - writer. Most of her publications are bilingual in French and English. 'Sylvie's recipes' is a practical cook book for people who want to cook French cuisine easily. Her other books are novels and short stories. She is the editor of 'Sylvie's Magazine The kiwifrench connection', a free online magazine that you will find at www.kiwifrenchmag.com. Nelson, New Zealand is her home town, where in the tourist season she runs her B&B at Ariki Lodge, a unique house built in schist - rock to an award winning design and surrounded by lovely gardens.
