Johnny Cash

Johnny Cash c'est une voix. Grave, profonde, reconnaissable entre toutes. C'est aussi une gueule, burinée, à l'expression dure, sombre, parfois tragique. C'est encore la silhouette singulière du « Man in Black » tout de noir drapé, du stetson aux bottes. C'est enfin une légende qui s'est tissée autour de lui, qu'il en ait parfois encouragé le développement ou qu'il l'ait combattu... Johnny Cash, une des plus belles légendes du rock'n'roll.

Johnny Cash was a voice. Serious, deep, and you'd recognize it anywhere. He was also a « face » : his craggy features carried a hard expression that was dark and sometimes even tragic. Cash was that strange « Man in Black » silhouette too, and wore the colour from his Stetson to his boots. And he was a legend : the myth weaved itself around Johnny Cash whether the man fought against it or increased its dimension... Johnny Cash was music history.
