L'agence HS-Projets

Association internationale Loi 1901, reconnue d'intérêt général. HS-Projets regroupent de nombreux acteurs internationaux du textile. L'Association structure des échanges et des coopérations entre acteurs régionaux, nationaux, européens et internationaux par l'organisation d'événements artistiques.

Un auvergnat sur quatre y habite tandis qu'un habitant de la métropole sur deux réside à Clermont-Ferrand. Les Volcans d'Auvergne, à proximité, représentent un patrimoine naturel d'exception.

Patrimoine mondial de l'Unesco depuis 2018 sous le nom de Chaîne des puys-faille de Limagne, qui contribue à forger son identité collective. Le département Tapis/arts textiles (musée du Tapis et des Arts textiles jusqu'en 2006) du Musée Bargoin, propose aux néophytes comme aux passionnés une immersion dans le monde du textile extra-européen en offrant plusieurs points de vue sur les pièces sélectionnées : technique, anthropologique, esthétique...

The HS-Projets Agency

HS_Projets is an International Association under the 1901 Law - recognized as being of general interest. It gathers many people involved in the textile industry worldwide. The Association develops exchange and cooperation between regional, national, European and international textile people through the organization of artistic events. A mask is much more revealing than a face, and a man is not really himself when he speaks in the first person ; give a man a mask and he will speak the truth.

The City of Clermont-Ferrand

Nineteenth urban center of France, Clermont-Ferrand encourages co-construction and new modes of cooperation for a common project. Social and cultural links are seen as crucial for the urban life. The city is very much involved in the development and influence of its territory as a human community, with the objective of a common invention of its future. The city of Clermont-Ferrand is running for the title of European Capital of Culture in 2028, with the help of the Clermont Auvergne Métropole. As a regional economic, university, cultural and sports capital, the Clermont-Ferrand metropolis includes twenty-one municipalities and covers an area of more than 30,000 hectares for nearly 300,000 inhabitants.

One out of four Auvergne residents live there, while one out of two inhabitants of the metropolis live in Clermont-Ferrand. The nearby Auvergne Volcanoes represent an exceptional natural heritage.

The area became a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2018 under the name of La Chaîne des Puys-Faille de Limagne, which contributed to create a collective identity. The Carpet and Textile Arts Department (Carpet and Textile Arts Museum until 2006) of the Bargoin Museum offers both newcomers and enthusiasts an immersion in the world of non-European textiles by offering a wide range of approaches for the pieces on display (technical, anthropological, aesthetic).
