A Federation open to a world in motion
After the exceptional results of French swimmers in Athens, the French Swimming Federation, in collaboration with INSEP (The National Institute for Sports And Physical Education), is proud to present to you the first international symposium on swimming held in France.
First, we would like to thank all institutions and partners who have contributed to the success of this event. This symposium should be a landmark in our history, and who knows, it may very well be the kick-off for a preparation to the 2008 Olympic Games.
Thank you to the Ministry for Youth, Sports and Voluntary Associations, to the Regional Council of Ile-De-France, to the City of Paris and to the Director of INSEP, who welcomes us here within the frame of the « Entretiens de l'INSEP ».
I would also like to emphasize the quality of our guest-speakers, who will certainly make this symposium a rare moment of shared knowledge combining scientific research and a very high level of professional expertise.
It is my wish for the French Federation to dedicate the new Olympiad to education. I would also like to advise all participants to take advantage of these rare moments of exchange with the best of their attention.
