This guide has been written for generalist readers who are interested in our rich heritage. The purpose is to briefly but faithfully recount the long history of the Castle of Sully-sur-Loire and the fortunes and misfortunes of those who passed through its gates.
Its aim is also to show what the castle was like in times past, often through previously unseen images, and what its future holds.
And, if possible, to convey some of the passion of those who know and love the castle to as wide an audience as possible.
